We work with many Oxbridge applicants each year and can provide targeted guidance alongside the high-level subject specific preparation required to put forward a strong application. Our Oxbridge consultants are happy to support you either through our Application Management module, or on an hourly consultancy basis, and will be able to introduce you to the best tutors to help with the subject specialist modules if required
Preparation for entrance to Oxford and Cambridge university begins in the Sixth Form, and our consultants are able to provide guidance and support through the application process. A large number of our specialist consultants studied at Oxford or Cambridge and therefore have extensive personal experience of the procedure. We can also introduce Oxbridge tutors to families who can help with interviews, essays, entrance tests as well as provide broader application support.
Oxford and Cambridge University Advisory Services
Initial consultation (in person or online) - Our initial university consultations enable us to understand the specific needs of the applicant, we will discuss your objectives and key university criteria. An initial consultation with a university specialist will either act as a starting point for our Application Management module (Module 1), ad hoc consultancy, or as an introduction to one of our tutor-led modules.
Application Management – If you are looking for a specialist consultant to oversee your Oxford or Cambridge university application then we are able support this through our Application Management module. Your consultant will advise on course and college choices and thereafter support you throughout the application process, managing deadlines and assisting with the completion of the UCAS form.
Guided Reading and Specialist Knowledge – This module has been designed to support those who are looking ahead to making an Oxbridge application. Through this module, a dedicated subject specialist tutor will discuss themes and ideas that underpin your chosen subject and will advise on suitable books and materials to explore. Having identified areas of interest in the subject your tutor will move the sessions towards developing more specialist knowledge, where you will deepen your expertise in the area, allowing you to build a central part of your personal statement as well as prepare for the interview process.
Test Prep – Our Test Prep module provides specialist tutors who can provide a course of 1-1 tutoring to help prepare applicants for university aptitude tests.
Personal Statement Drafting – In our Personal Statement drafting module you will be provided with guidance on drafting your personal statement. Expert members of our team will review iterations of your personal statement, providing practical feedback and guidance on how to ensure it represents you in the best possible light.
Interview Preparation – For those applying to Oxbridge, or for courses that require an interview, our expert tutors are familiar with the requirements of the interview process and able to provide mock interviews and feedback.
Ad Hoc Advice (Hourly Consultancy) – If you are looking for an unbiased perspective on courses and/or universities, or for an experienced education consultant who can give some insight into a specific topic, we are able to help on an hourly basis. Before a consultation we will collect relevant information, and if applicable, you will receive a summary email with further recommendations following the meeting.
