FAQs
Yes. Our HAA tutors are able to deliver in-person tuition in London. For those outside of central London we offer online tutoring.
The HAA tutors we represent are well versed in delivering online tuition, using videoconferencing and an interactive whiteboard. This gives students, wherever they are in the world, access to experienced, high quality tutors who are familiar with the requirements of the HAA admissions tests and History interviews.
We have a monthly reporting system which is used to update parents on an ongoing basis. The monthly report details:
- the focus of that month’s tutoring
- the form of assessment used
- the student's achievements and areas for further work
- the focus for the coming month
The regular, rigorous reporting of the tutors we represent is frequently commended by parents.

Applying to Study History at Oxford or Cambridge University 2025
Between them, Oxford and Cambridge admit around 500 students each year to read History or joint honours degrees such as History & Politics. Until quite recently – in fact, up until 2023 – the two universities operated broadly similar admissions systems for students applying to read these subjects; each set a written test and required the submission of one or two pieces of written work before offering final interviews to successful candidates.
